TenCate Geotextile Products
Geogrids
Geogrids are plastics formed into a very open, grid-like configuration and are either stretched in one or two directions for improved physical properties or made on weaving machinery by unique methods. There are many application areas and they function almost exclusively as reinforcement materials.
Nonwoven Geoextiles
Mirafi® Nonwoven Geotextiles are planar, permeable textile structures produced by mechanically bonding random fibers. Nonwoven geotextiles are used with soil, rock, earth, or any other geotechnical engineering-related material in a variety of functions including soil separation, drainage applications, permanent erosion control, landfill construction, weed barriers and more.
Woven Geotextiles
Mirafi® Woven Geotextiles are planar, permeable textile structures produced by interlacing two or more sets of yarns or fibers. Woven geotextiles are used with soil, rock, earth, or any other geotechnical engineering-related material in a variety of functions including base course reinforcement and subgrade stabilization of Transportation, Building Site Development and Energy Infrastructure projects such as roads, railways and airports.
