Order Status Updates


Receive confidence that your orders are being handled timely and accurately, and better manage projects through real-time order status updates.

White Cap’s Order Status Update service automatically emails order confirmations and advance ship notices to a designated contact, list of contacts, or group email address(es) – in real time.

Product information, order/ship quantities, carrier and delivery ETAs are provided in the email notifications.


The first order status is the Sales Order Acknowledgment

  • The Sales Order Acknowledgment is sent immediately upon order booking and contains the following information:
    • White Cap Order Booking Branch
    • Item Numbers and Descriptions
    • Order Quantities
    • Customer Ship To Address

    The second order status available is the Advance Ship Notice

    • The Advance Ship Notice is sent when the warehouse prepares the order for shipment and contains the following information:
      • White Cap Fulfillment Branch
      • Item Numbers and Descriptions
      • Shipping Quantities
      • Carrier Name & Tracking Number
      • Estimated Time of Arrival

      Activation Steps

      • To be activated on this service, contact your Outside Sales Rep or Inside Sales Rep - and provide the following information:
        • Account Name & Number
        • Email Address(es)
